Echinacea Purpurea, also known as purple coneflower, showcases captivating flower heads adorned with purple/pink petals and cone-shaped centers.
Renowned for its immune-boosting properties, Echinacea enhances the body's natural defenses, improving the likelihood of warding off diseases. It proves beneficial as a preventive measure at the first signs of colds and flu, as well as reducing the symptoms and duration of various ailments such as colds, flu, tonsillitis, bronchitis, hay fever, sinusitis, and whooping cough.
Beyond its medicinal value, Echinacea adds a striking touch to any garden, often grown as an ornamental plant and ideal for perennial borders. Additionally, its cut flowers can be beautifully displayed in vases, maintaining their allure.

Sow seeds 6mm deep. Keep soil moist, but not wet.
Seeds should germinate in around 10-16 days at a soil temperature of 18-22 degrees. Once seedlings have true leaves and are large enough to handle, transplant in the ground.
